![]() Return to Main Page Tuesday, November 4, 2008 Shining Weekend + Hamsters + Election
On Halloween, Justine and I went to the Shining Party at the Timberline Lodge. It was very very cool, and I am glad we took part in the fun. I will post some more pictures at one point... but, check out this stare-down: ![]() We also picked up these little guys in Portland: ![]() They are Russian Dwarf Hamsters. They are named Niko and Circuit. They are really fun little guys. On another note... Congrats to Barack Obama! Let's see what this guy can do. 1 Comments ------- Thursday, March 13, 2008 Web 2.0 Mini-Rant, New Photo Gallery, Geocaching = Awesome, and Renewal Fees
(RANT) According to my photo galleries, I have not been doing anything in the past year or so. I have taken many pictures, placed them on my hard drive, and forgotten about them. I don't feel right posting those pictures on sites like MySpace or Facebook, because I hate "networking" sites. Even Livejournal has killed what I love about the internet. Web 2.0 is NOT a good thing... YouTube is not a reliable source of information! The internet used to be a place for a certain type of person to hang out, and now it is "everyone." This is how I feel... have you ever had a band that you really liked, and "nobody" else has ever heard of them? You were a fan from the beginning. Then, they started getting noticed by other people, and the band that was once "just yours" is now having to be shared by everyone. The lead singer no longer talks to you after the show, and will just go hang out with other people... That is what the internet has done to me. (/RANT) In wonderful Web 1.0 style, I pulled the photos that have been on the memory card in my camera since late October, edited each one, and made my own photo gallery. Click HERE to view the photos. Also, Justine and I have been Geocaching! My Uncle talked to me about it, I brought the idea to Justine, and we have been loving it ever since. Today, we went out and found 10 caches in different locations (7 in Black Diamond, and 3 in Seattle). Here are links to the ones we found today (you can read my description of each one on those pages):
I have to renew DJcopydog.com in April, and I am trying to talk myself into keeping it. This happens every year at this time... and, it really keeps getting harder and harder every year to justify the cost. But, I love it. My coworkers made me into a pumpkin on my day off. For some reason I am smoking a doobie... this is now displayed in the lobby of our radio station. Labels: photo 0 Comments------- Wednesday, July 25, 2007 The Kwik-E-Mart in Seattle

I had a sandwich from here last night... It was delicious and filling. And... The salad bar seems totally out of place. These cell phone posts take forever to type. Labels: photo 0 Comments------- Tuesday, March 13, 2007 The Gibson Explorer
The gibson explorer... I just set up my cell phone for mobile blogging! This was just a test! Labels: photo, site updates 0 Comments-------
