I got to review another game for work! Go check it out on MyNW.com.

The next one on the list is Fable 2!!! I can't wait!

In other news... Justine and I are trying to plan another vacation before this year is up. We were thinking about DisneyWorld, but it will most likely be too expensive. Any suggestions?

One Step Closer...

Were you listening to KIRO-AM this morning? If so, you heard my rendition of Stone Temple Pilots, Chumbawamba, and MC Hammer. It was all for my first official video game review of Singstar 90s. So good. I will post the audio later. (Or, you can catch the replay in the 6pm hour tonight)

But, you can hear the whole interview, and read the review on Jim Valley's new blog at MyNorthwest.com.

Starbucks... Coffee for People With Attitudes

Post by:
Copydog
at
2:16 PM

Since I live less than a mile away from my workplace, I decide to walk. I have seen car accidents, breaking and entering, and many other interesting events while walking this short stretch of Seattle streets.

The half-way point is near a Starbucks location. Many of the oddities I see occur within a block or two of this point. I have come to the conclusion that an attitude is served with every single cup of Starbucks product.

Two quick examples:

1 - Two times this week, I have seen a woman crossing a busy street, carrying a grande-something-or-other, talking on a cell phone and HOLDING A BABY. The baby is in one of those basket-like baby holders, and the woman has the handle over her forearm, and the cup of coffee in her hand (the other hand has the cell phone up to her ear). If that woman trips, the baby will have some nice hot Starbucks in its face.

2 - Using a gift card from Christmas, I decided to stop in today to get something before I went into work. I ordered from the posted menu, and waited for my drink. In the meantime, another customer came through the door. She took off her oversized sunglasses (exposing her excessive eye makeup), unzipped her two-sizes-too-small leather coat (exposing her Casper boobs) and placed her order. It actually sounded more like a shopping list with all of the specifications she wanted (light on the ____, heavy on the ____, half soy, half milk, yadda). After her order, she let out an exaggerated sigh, as if looking for applause on her complicated order. After that, she asked for a custom snackey (which they made for her without hesitation). I grabbed my order, then walked out of the establishment. About a block up the road at the nearest intersection, that woman almost runs me over while I am in a crosswalk (I even had the little walky-man telling me to go). She was too distracted to drive her silver Jetta, while talking on a cell phone and drinking her Starbucks.

Is it just the location I went to, or is Starbucks primarily for females?

Some trends I have noticed with female Starbucks drinkers:
  1. If you drive a Jetta (or a tiny woman driving a huge SUV)
  2. Have fake blonde hair
  3. Look constantly sun-burnt (spray tan or tanning bed)
  4. Wear huge sunglasses
Am I being over-critical, or am I hitting the nail on the head?

The Expansion Pack - Demo Show #2

Post by:

11:48 PM

I made a second (and much better) attempt to host a radio show on KIRO or KTTH in Seattle.

This is the Expansion Pack for 2/10/08: (Right Click Here, and select Save Target As...) (just over 30 minutes long)

After listening to it, I accidentally said Duke Nukem Forever was first announced in 2007... while I meant to say "1997." Whoopsie!

Please download, and let me know what you think!

Sharpie + Computer paper

The internet was down at work for a couple of hours, and it actually crippled the entire building. I could not do anything without connectivity. While waiting for it to come back up, I drew this picture!

If you haven't heard by now.... Justine and I are engaged. I asked her on Friday, May 11th, and she said "Yes, yes, yes!" We have not set a date yet, but she will be moving in on June 9th, after graduation.

OH! Also check out Awesomecam's first show! Click here for the Flyer It is bound to be a fun time.

More typing later!

Picture of the Day - No Need to Save the Princess

Copydog: what do you want to see?
Justine: a dragon and a princess
Copydog: hmmm... okay
Copydog: I will do my best

I am getting more and more comfortable drawing with colors. I still love the black/white only pictures, but these are coming out pretty good.

I saw a car accident today while walking home from work, and it was the 2nd time that I have had to call the police while living in Seattle.

Tomorrow, I have a meeting with the General Manager of my new company. I am somewhat nervous, but I am sure everything will be fine.

After work, I get to see a pre-screening of Grindhouse with Ryan Tone. Can't wait.

Picture of the Day - Monday Dinner

Here is what I ate for dinner tonight! Potato soup, peanut butter bagel, carrots and ranch. To top it all off, I had a glass of blueberry+cranberry juice.

I REALLY hope the Wii starts getting some better game support. Right now, it is a pretty sad lineup. I wouldn't mind playing the Sonic game, but at $50 a pop, it is looking pretty grim that I will be buying a game just to try things out.

I am not feeling so well... I have had a stomach-flu for over a week now, and it is not giving me a break. I woke up many times throughout the night last night, and went to the bathroom. I barely made it through today at work. After I got home, I went to bed, and woke up at 10:30pm to make dinner, and the picture of the day.

Goodness, I Love Azteca

Post by:

Someone forgot about their order of 2 Fiesta Platters at Azteca. So, Azteca brought the unclaimed food across the street to my work.

It could not have happened on a better day, because my trial of a different flavor of Lean Pockets was HORRIBLE.

Never, EVER buy this:
