I bought a pack of doublemint, and the individual sticks were wrapped in paper instead of foil. weak.

In other news, my XBox is still in the shop (shipped it out last Sunday). I reactivated my WoW account, and they made the game alot easier to play! I am making BANK from my herbs.

One of the benefits of working at a radio station the day before Thanksgiving. That is a microphone to get the bubbling sounds.

Around 8am, I had a knock at my door waking me up. I was about to look through the peep-hole, when I heard something to the effect on the other side of "If nobody answers, we'll just open it." So, I open the door and it is a plumber coming to fix a leak. They take a look, and say they are going to replace my water heater, and asked me to move my microwave cart, everything from my counters, from the top of the fridge, and the fridge itself. I said, "Okay, let me put some pants on first." I was still only wearing underwear at that point. Weird.

These Pretzels Are Making Me Thirsty

Few quick thoughts on what's going on:

- Halloween is coming up! What should I be?! I haven't dressed up in years, but thought this would be a fun one, since it is a Saturday night.

- Awesomecam is FINALLY on track to record an album. We have decided to self-record, and if it starts sounding like crud, we might have to end up going somewhere. If anybody has any help to offer, please let me know!

- It is funny how little things can really cheer you up. Justine and I just bought a new shower head, and it is excellent. Makes waking up in the morning for work a little less horrible.

- Red Bull is doing a promotion right now where they hide boxes of their energy shots around the USA. So far, I've found one box. I really hope that Jack Daniel's does a similar promotion in the future. ACTUALLY, if Jagermiester did something like this, they could just hide their product next to the Red Bull. Now, THAT'S a party.

- I have decided that once I've paid off my student loans, I am going to invest in a Harley Davidson. Does anybody have some tips on buying?

I woke up this morning and found a lifeless hamster in his cage. Circuit was a good pet. Justine and I loved him very much. We buried him under a Magnolia tree this morning.

Parking Spot + Ignore User + Vacation

Post by:

LONG story short... I had to drive back to my apartment to grab something last night, and somebody was parked in my spot! I was so mad, I hate when this happens. So, I looked in the SUV's window for any clues which apartment to knock on... and BAM, two completely naked people doin' it in the back seat. I went inside and grabbed what I needed, and came back outside to get in my car. The dude was standing shirtless outside his SUV, stretching. I asked if they would be there long, because they were parked in my spot. He replied "I just got out of prison, and had to make a quick stop. We'll be out of here in a minute." I said it was no problem, and have a good day.

On another note... I was getting pretty bogged down with some users' newsfeeds, and finally found the "Ignore" button! So happy. The urge to punch that person in the face every time I see her pictures and status updates has gone down significantly.

And finally... Justine and I are excited for our upcoming Vacation! Disneyworld! We'll be there for both of our birthdays, and we are super stoked. Pictures will be posted upon return.

Names + Weight Loss + Daily Comic

When it comes time to have a kid, I am thinking "Andy Scott Skaggs" is a perfect name. Their initials would be: ASS. They would be great bowlers.

I am trying to lose some weight. I bought a scale to track the progress. I tried to do some sit-ups this morning, I hurt my back, and ended up dry-heaving over the toilet. That's Day 1...

I've been keeping up with a Daily Comic for 2 months now. When I get a good amount of quality strips, I am going to create a Zine!

MTG Grand Prix

Post by:

I decided to head to the Magic: The Gathering Grand Prix at the Tacoma Convention Center this weekend. It was a REALLY good time... lots of people showed up, and everybody there was in a great mood. I haven't played in a MTG tournament for several years, and never anything this competitive. I threw a deck together the day before the competition, and got STOMPED!

Think I am joking about getting beaten? CHECK THIS OUT... Round 5, second to last table. But, this was round 5... most people have dropped out at this point who hit the 3-loss mark, but I was playing for fun.

Here is the deck I used:

Lands (23)
4 Rugged Prairie
12 Mountain
7 Plains

Creatures (8)
4 Hostility
4 Balefire Liege

Spells (29)
4 Austere Command
4 Oblivion Ring
4 Incinerate
4 Flame Javelin
3 Shock
3 Volcanic Fallout
3 Puncture Blast
2 Banefire
2 Shard Volley

Sideboard (15)
4 Path to Exile
4 Unwilling Recruit
4 Holy Day
3 Dispeller's Capsule
